My Town: Promote Breast Cancer Awareness by Dancing | FOX8 ...

ASHLAND, Ohio ? A local school enters the 2012 Pink Glove II Dance Video Competition to promote breast cancer awareness and there?s still time for others to participate.

The competition involves creating a dance video and submitting it to the Pink Glove Dance Competition by September 28.

Ashland County West Holmes Career Center, located at 1783 State Route 60 in Ashland, decided to participate in honor of Deb Gilson, a school liason, who battled breast cancer, as well as brain cancer.

The first place winning team gets $10,000 dollars donated to the breast cancer charity of their choice, second place gets $5,000 dollars donated and third place gets $2,000 dollars donated.

Ashland County West Holmes Career Center chose a Katy Perry song for their dance video and if they win plan to donate the money to the Breast Cancer Research Fund.
