Judge: Samsung's Galaxy Tab Isn't Cool Enough To Be Confused With iPad (AAPL)

A U.K. judge ruled that Samsung's Galaxy Tab tablet does not infringe on Apple's iPad design, saying Samsung's product isn't cool enough for consumers to confuse the two.

Here's the full quote from judge Colin Birss, via Bloomberg:

"[Samsung's Galaxy Tab tablets] do not have the same understated and extreme simplicity which is possessed by the Apple design. They are not as cool.?

Despite the Birss' harsh criticism of the Galaxy Tab, his ruling means Samsung will still be able to sell the tablet in the U.K.
